Professor doctor Dimitrina Mitova Gionova is a Bulgarian who was born in 1924 in Bulgaria. He graduated history with classic philology and specialized in archeology and old history in the Sofia University “Kliment Ohridski’ in 1928. She has defended a habilitaded thesis for a professor degree about the “Common national and regional in the cultural – historical development in the Danube plain”, which are traced from the palolithe till nowadays   and she explains that the differentiation’s between the Eastern and Western part are due to the fact that Bulgaria is a contact zone between the two – way infiltration’s of foreign and European and Asian cultures. The doctorate dissertation on the theme of “Protosardinian nuragic culture. The origin and facts” gives a new interpretation of the phenomenal nuragic culture as a whole and connects them with the emigrated northern – eastern a Semitic metallurgics.

Dimitrina Mitova – Gionova has worked in the museums in Vidin and Svistov and in the National Institute of memorials of culture. She has done a whole territorial survey and northern western and south Bulgaria she has made archeological excavations and she has taken part in foreign and Bulgarian expeditions of prehistoric, antique and medieval objects and she has given lectures in more than 20 international congresses in Bulgaria and abroad. Her surveys are mostly in the migration the Near Eastern Mediterranean part and the Euro – Asian area, which belongs to, and their ethno – cultural infiltration’s and religion syncretism.

 During the last ten years she has concentrated on the problems of the Bible archeology hebraismus  and shummeric – akkadic religions and the western Semitic monotheism as a basic factor in creating the Greek – Roman Christians religion and their distant parts in the Bulgarian folklore.

Her surveys are published in monographs, studios and articles in Bulgarian and European languages.
